The Esther Benjamins Trust is mainly focused on Aiding disadvantaged childern in Nepal. They run several homes for street children, children who are incacerated in Nepals' jails with their parents and children who have be rescued from slavery in Indian circuses. The charity was set up in 1999 by Philip Benjamins as a memorial to his wife who commited suicide.

Animals Asia is a Hong Kong-based charity, dedicated to ending cruelty and restoring respect for all animals in Asia. Their projects include: China Bear Rescue. (a project to rescue bears farmed for their bile.) Friends or Food (a project aimed at stopping eating of dogs and cats and the cruel methods of preparation). Doctor Dog ( Bringing dogs into hospitals to give long term patients animal therapy) Detective Dog (A sniffer dog specially trained to detect smuggled endangered species' animal parts.) Project Asia ( Addressing Asian issues: live wild animal markets, emergency relief and usage of animals in Traditional Medicine. )
