On Basement Level 4 , for the princely sum of $5,000, he'll take you to a secluded storeroom that contains two treasure chests (Takara Bako) that he's squirreled away, one of which is filled with explosive powder (an item you'll soon be needing, in combination with the Clock item (Tokei), to create a timebomb that will open up an alternate entrance to Basement Level 6.) On Basement Level 5, pay him a paltry $1,000 and he'll whisk you back to the dungeon's entrance on Basement Level 1 (which is handy when you want to get back to town quickly.) On Reverse Basement Level 5, the ancient fellow is feeling more generous and will give you a pair of Ruby Slippers (casts Loktofeit when used) for free, which is a great way to instantly escape the dungeon. Visit the Queen after you defeat Tairossam, and his inhuman jester Flack, on Basement Level 6--restoring the Magical Jewel of Llylgamyn, and the protection it provides against evil, in the process--and Iris will reward your party members with a permanent diamond symbol after their names, commemorating their service to the realm. Destroy Sokusu, and her demonic minions, on Reverse Basement Level 1, and bring Iris her slain sister's sword as proof of the deed, and she will change your diamonds into hearts, symbolizing her eternal love and gratitude for those that risked their lives to save Llylgamyn. |

![]() Queen Iris' older sister (whom, by virtue of being the eldest, is the rightful ruler of Llylgamyn), disappeared from the castle a year ago under mysterious circumstances. Black rumors regarding the cause of her absence have spread amongst the commonfolk, and, unfortunately, those troubling stories have proven to be all too true. Allying herself with the demonic hordes of the Abyss, Sokusu seeks to raze Llylgamyn to the ground, slaying her sister and all of its people. Sokusu has dual-classed as a Fighter and Mage, making her deadly with both sword and spells. The first time you confront her, on Reverse Basement 1, she'll order her hellish minions (Lycurgus and an assortment of Greater, Lesser, and Wing Demons) to deal with you while she escapes. If you survive that ambush, which is no small feat, you can follow and corner her in the center of the largest chamber, on the same floor, for the final confrontation. When, and if, you slay Sokusu, return to the castle bearing her blade, as proof of your victory, and you'll receive the Queen's adoration for saving the kingdom and beat the game. |

When used in combat, it dispels any spell effects monsters have cast on themselves. When used outside of combat, it cancels all the magical effects that you currently have cast on your party (i.e., Lomilwa, Latumapic, Litofeit, and Maporfic). Probably the only reason you would ever want do that is if you wished to go down a chute, but couldn't, because you had previously cast Litofeit. (Japanese: Sokorudi) Randomly summons a group of monsters to aid the party in battle. In order of strength: Fuzzballs, Will O'Wisps, Lesser Demons, Stone Golems, and Greater Demon [Type B]. That drained life force is then transferred to the caster, healing him/her. This spell is a very effective way to substantially weaken powerful foes, even bosses, IF you can manage to get it past their magic resistance. (Japanese: Rokutofeito) Last resort escape spell. The party is teleported out of the dungeon and back to town, but the caster forgets the spell in the process and must relearn it. (Japanese: Madi) Fully restores all the hit points of a single ally and removes all negative status effects. |

(Japanese: Mahaman) Wish spell that invokes divine intervention on the party's behalf. A deity will appear and present the caster with a choice of one of three randomly picked favors from the following list: - Fully heal/cure/resurrect the entire party. - Disable all enemy spells and breath attacks. - Remove all enemy magic resistance. - Teleport the party out of the battle. - Bestow the entire party with a temporary -10 AC bonus. - Refill the entire party's spell slots. - Restore any experience levels that have been drained. This magic is so potent that the caster has to relearn the spell and also loses one experience level, so save it for truly dire situations. (Japanese: Maro-ru) Teleportation spell. Outside of combat, simply select the desired floor of the dungeon, move the cursor onto the square you want to appear in, and, presto, off you go. Note that you cannot teleport to a location that you haven't previously visited (that'd be cheating!) If you use the Malor spell in combat, you will escape the battle and be sent to a random location on that dungeon level, but, beware, if you end up in solid stone, your party will be completely annihilated. (Japanese: Maujiutsu) Greater prismatic spray. Attempt to inflict random detrimental effects [death, fear, paralysis, petrification, physical damage (~30), or sleeping] on all enemies. On the other hand, if all you want to do is complete the adventure, you can safely ignore this floor altogether, as there's nothing in it that affects the game's storyline in any way. NOTE #2: Just to make life more difficult, you're not allowed to use the Level 7 Mage spell Malor to warp into, or around, this level. However, once you're actually in RB6, you can use Malor to teleport to a different floor.
