Vile MK-II/Vava MK-II

A Maverick saboteur and terrorist of ill repute. His remains found and then repaired and enhanced by Dr. Doppler in Mega Man X3, Vile returns in his MK-II incarnation after being destroyed in the original Mega Man X. Vile is a volatile, self-serving reploid who can seldom be trusted to accomplish his orders in the way they were outlined to him by his superior(s) - Vile does things HIS way or not at all. Dr. Doppler finds this arrogance and insubordination less than amusing and threatens to deactivate Vile if he becomes problematic, but the hatred Vile feels for X over his previous destruction at his hands knows no boundaries and blinds him to all reason - Vile will not rest until he has his revenge...

Vile prefers an unfair fight, usually by utilizing bulky Robot Ride armor, but when said heavy machinery is destroyed, he is more than willing to go robot-to-robot with his unfortunate opponent. Vile makes use of his shoulder mounted arsenal in such situations, attacking with both his rapid-fire cannon and incendiary missile rack. Vile is a cunning and resourceful reploid who should never be underestimated; even when his vital functions are on the verge of shutting down, he usually has one last parting "gift" for his opponent to deal with.

The crystalline structure of the metal alloy that makes up Vile's armor is prone to fracturing when struck by the Spinning Blades of Crush Crawfish.

Rumors exist that Capcom based Vile's design on Boba Fett of Star Wars fame, due to their somewhat similar appearance and temperment.
