One of the eight robot masters appearing in Mega Man 2. Metal Man is uncharacteristic of Dr. Wily's creations in that he has a sense of honor and fair play - he will not attack his opponent unless they attack him first. This robot master's weapon of choice are the Metal Blades, razor-toothed gears that he flings with great precision. Despite being constructed of heavy, steel alloys, Metal Man moves with surprising speed and agility in battle and can be difficult to target - a task that the moving conveyer belt that runs alongs the floor of his lair makes even more difficult.
A barrage of Quick Man's Quick Boomerangs will slice through Metal Man's armor with relative ease. Curiously enough, Metal Man is also extremely vulnerable to his own Metal Blades - just one or two successful hits with them will destroy the robot master. Not taking the offensive against a passive opponent, even when it's in his best interest to do so, while honorable, could be Metal Man's undoing under the right circumstances.
