Dry Bones

Animated Koopa Troopa skeletons that first appeared in the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) video game Super Mario Brothers 3. They can typically be found patrolling the halls in the numerous fortresses and strongholds King Koopa and his Koopalings have scattered across the Mushroom Kingdom.

ABILITIES:
When struck by an attack, these ossified reptiles collapse into a pile of bones. Moments later, magical forces reassemble the creature and it resumes its patrol as though nothing happened. There is no limit to the number of times a Dry Bones can resurrect itself in this fashion. They attack by biting with their sharp beaks.

WEAKNESSES:
A Dry Bones can only be destroyed with the power of an invincibility star or hammers, otherwise, all one can hope to do is temporarily incapacitate them.

Materials:
Tissue paper, newsprint, white glue, hot glue, and acrylic paint.

Dimensions:
7.5 cm/3.0 in. x 8.6 cm/3.4 in. (highest point x widest point)

Time:
One day. Construction began and ended on 7/14/06.
