Bydo, bio-mechanical warships found in the last level of R-type II and Super R-type. They serve as the final defense system for the fortress that houses the all-important Bydo Womb. Dogras have very limited intelligence and can only fly in straight lines, never deviating from their paths to avoid fire or to chase down intruders. However, their armored hides can absorb a relatively large amount of damage, which helps compensate for the Dogras' inability to act beyond their rudimentary programming. They attack with their Balkan blasters or by ramming (if an opposing spacecraft is foolish enough to try barring their path, that is - when it comes down to playing a game of "Chicken", Dogras never flinch). Dogras typically travel together in large numbers, often assuming "wall" or "pincer" formations that present a "blast through or die" scenario for any would-be trespassers.
