Said title was the first Resident Evil game that could be played cooperatively online with other gamers (your fellow survivors are controlled by the game's artificial intelligence, often with infuriating results, when playing offline). My figure is based on one of Cindy's two alternate outfits, the "Funny Bunny" costume.

Cindy Lennox is a 24-year-old waitress who was working the evening shift at J's Bar in Raccoon City when the T-virus zombie epidemic got completely out of control. She's an upbeat and positive individual who always thinks of the welfare of others before considering her own needs (in other words, an insufferable goody-two-shoes). Each of the playable characters in Resident Evil: Outbreak has unique abilities or features, and Cindy's most notable one is her herb case. This special kit can only hold green, blue, and red medicinal plants (conveniently, you begin each new game already in possession of two of each color), as well as one powdered mixture of said flora. This frees up valuable inventory space for Cindy (normally, players can only carry four objects at a time), giving her significantly more flexibility in resource management than the other characters, with the possible exception of her fellow survivor Yoko Suzuki, who can lug around up to eight items, thanks to her knapsack. Provided she's in close proximity to the person she wishes to help, and has the necessary item(s) to do so, Cindy can choose to directly heal other characters with her "Aid" command (instead of having to go through the time-consuming process of offering and handing off curative items like everyone else). Cindy also has the ability to dodge attacks from her foes by quickly ducking, completely avoiding damage if timed properly.

Obtaining Cindy's Funny Bunny outfit, or any of the character's alternate clothing choices for that matter, is an exercise in tedium and frustration. You must collect all of the individual pieces of the ensemble (in this case: Bunny Bow Tie, Bunny Costume, Bunny Cuffs, Bunny Ears, High Heels, Fishnet Tights, and Sexy Lipstick), which are hidden in specific locations throughout the game's five scenarios, and their availability is typically dependent on the difficulty setting as well (for example, you must be playing on either the "Hard" or "Very Hard" settings in order to potentially find the bow tie, cuffs, heels, and tights--they simply won't be there on "Easy" or "Normal"). Aggravating matters, painstakingly assembling all of the parts isn't enough; you also have to purchase the completed outfit from the Collection menu, which, at 30,000 points, is hardly affordable [unless you can reliably survive and clear scenarios, with good-excellent rankings (and ideally without taking any damage, using any weapons, or losing any of your fellow survivors), it's going to take many play sessions to rack up that many credits.] I'm a completist with way too much time on my hands (according to the in-game statistics, I played Resident Evil: Outbreak for almost 90 hours, and beat the individual scenarios dozens of times, with all eight characters, in order to unlock everything), and even I have to admit that the extra wardrobe options really weren't worth anywhere near the time and effort it took for me to get them. Cindy is less-than-thrilled with her new look (and yet, she wears it anyway). Apparently, Jack, the owner of J's Bar, was planning on replacing the work uniforms for all of his female employees with bunny girl outfits, a scheme for which Cindy has but one response: "Perv!" I imagine Cindy would probably consider me a degenerate too for making this action figure of her...

Funny Bunny Outfit Components

SP (Special) Item

Location

Difficulty
Setting*

Description

Bunny Bow Tie

Below Freezing Point
B4F Turntable (corner of railing in front of the locomotive door).

Hard or Very Hard (B)

A bunny girl bow tie...
