For Mark's Art Page

• The new Konami Video Game Fan Art index page has been upgraded. All of the missing Yahoo! Geocities-hosted content on that page is now available again (my Metal Gear Solid and Tokimeki Memorial illustrations, plus an assortment of Castlevania and Silent Hill sculptures, were deleted). Two more galleries left to go and I'll finally be done replacing lost Geocities stuff . . .

• First and foremost, as I've warned in the past, all of my Yahoo!Geocities hosted content is now gone (as of October 26th, 2009) and unaccessible. The good news is that I've already moved much of it.



• The new North Wind Cartoons, Square-Enix, and id Software gallery indexes have been upgraded and all of the lost Yahoo! Geocities linked content that was on them has been moved to different web space accounts, making it available for viewing once again. Additionally, even though it didn't have any Geocities content on it, I also upgraded the layout of the Jem fan art gallery, as it was long overdue (it hasn't had an overhaul since 2005, largely because I haven't done any Jem artwork in years). I've got three more galleries to go through (Konami Fan Art, Miscellaneous Video Game Fan Art, and Miscellaneous Artwork), and then all of the missing Geocities stuff should be replaced. Again, please also remember that many in-site links don't work correctly anymore (mostly those at the bottom of older individual web pages that direct you back to the indexes) because I haven't fixed them. Simply use the 'back' function on your internet browser instead to avoid any navigational problems (assuming you're accessing content from a gallery index page that is).

If you've been looking around the site lately, you may have noticed I've been tinkering with things, primarily small graphical upgrades to this Updates page and the gallery indexes. I've also (finally) begun working on moving some of my soon-to-be-deleted Yahoo! Geocities stuff to other web space providers. For the record, the new Nintendo, Capcom, and SNK fan art gallery indexes have been upgraded and all of the Yahoo! Geocities linked content that was on them has been moved to different web space accounts. So, everything listed on those three index pages should be accessible, even after the 26th. That said, please keep in mind that even if the web page for a piece of artwork is available, any in-site navigation links located on that page might still send you back to the old Geocities indexes (which will shortly disappear, and you'll likely get an error message of some sort), not the new ones, because I haven't gone through and corrected them (thankfully, this can easily be avoided by hitting the Back icon on your internet browser instead of using any of my potentially incorrect 'return to so-and-so index' links).

I don't know how much of the content I have up on Geocities I'll get moved by Yahoo's deadline, and it'll probably be a long time (if ever) before I get around to going through the hundreds of individual web pages I have and correcting all of their in-site navigational links.
