This 1998 Resaurus toy line is based on the characters from the hit PC game Quake II (developed and published by ID Software), which pits Earth's marines against the alien cyborg Strogg in an intergalactic war.

Marine Major

The Marine Major stands 6.7 in/16.9 cm high and has 12 points of articulation. The figure has a rocket launcher (with removable missile rack) and a hyperblaster as accessories. He also comes with a Strogg Barracuda Shark.

There is also a variant of the Marine Major, dubbed "Psycho". He has a bald, tattooed head and an altered, red armor paint job.

Tank

The Strogg Tank figure towers at 10.0 in/25.5 cm and has 15 points of articulation. It features working spring shock absorbers in both of its feet and moving clockwork gears (which can be covered with a removable section of battle-damaged armor) in its left thigh. Its spring-loaded, shoulder-mounted missile launcher can be raised or lowered and fires its three missiles at the push of a button; the launcher also rotates in conjunction with the head to simulate target tracking. Because of its large size, the Strogg Tank is the only Quake II figure in the collection that doesn't come with an additional smaller figure.
