The Legacy of Tsaki

'Cause that's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it!
You might wonder why we named our website “Tsaki’s Toybox”. Tsaki (sounds like “socky”) was a very good friend of ours. She lived with us from the moment she was born on the morning of August 6, 1986 until she passed from us on the evening of November 12, 2001.

Tsaki was an AKC miniature poodle, café au lait in color with a liver nose, hard headed, opinionated, selfish, pushy and hard to get along with. We loved her so dearly.

Tsaki-san Izitso?Tsaki traveled with us all over the United States and Europe. She ate at the table with us in some of Europe’s finest restaurants and strolled the halls of some of Europe’s nicest hotels. Spoiled? You bet!

In the middle 90s Tsaki was deliberately poisoned and, although she did recover, this incident was probably what shortened her lifespan. The poodle accents on this website are to honor her. We don’t ever want her to be forgotten as pets who have passed sometimes are.

Rescue the Animals: Animal Shelters in Our Area.Adopt an Abandoned Pet Our request to you would be to remember there are pets who were once loved and, for whatever reasons, are now sitting in animal shelters. These shelters need volunteers, donations of pet foods and money to keep operating. If you have time or resources please call the shelter near your home and ask what you can do to help. And if you are in a position to adopt, please do. There are many wonderful dogs and cats (and other pets) who are looking for families to love and care for them. Click on the Rescue The Animals icon to see those in the Abilene area.

We still love you and miss you…your stairway to heaven is paved with loving thoughts and lots of milk bones...

Your lifetime friend, Logie.

Sadly, on April 4, 2008, Logie also passed. He had been ill for a very long time. I like to picture Tsaki and Logie together again...waiting for their snackies and never growing older...

Sitting in the lap of Anpu!
