RH: Entire catalogue is available online through www.texasmusicrounduo.com
PC: Who are your main musical influences?
RH: Entire catalogue is available online through www.texasmusicrounduo.com
PC: Where can someone get copys of your CD's "Playin' Favorites","Smoky Night In A Bar"," Listen To Your Heart" and "After All This Time"?
RH: Entire catalogue is available online through www.texasmusicrounduo.com and my own web site.
PC: What approach do you take when writing your songs?Do you have any specific routine?
RH: When I write a song, the words usually but not always come first. I consider my lyrics to be the adult equivalent of nursery rhymes, set to music.
PC: Where do you want to be in the next few years with your music career? Any long term goals?
RH: I'd like to keep playing music until I'm physically unable-I don't foresee losing interest in performing. I'd like to tour occasionally, and go to Europe, and I'm confident these things will happen eventually.
PC: Is there anybody that you would like to perform with on stage?
RH: I'd love to perform with Willie
PC: What makes Texas music different from the stuff coming out of Nashville?
RH: Speaking only for myself, Texas music doesn't follow trends, it sets them. I aspire making music that will be as valid at least 100 years from now much more than having a "hit" record (although, I must admit, it sure wouldn't hurt)
PC: What kind of audience is your music attracting?
RH: My music attracts friends. Some of them I know better than others, some I don't know yet, and some I may never meet. I've found that my favorite friends to perform for are the elderly and small children-their purity inspires me
PC: What artist or band is out there right now that you really like?
RH: I like mostly bands and artists from around here. The Cornell Hurd Band, Libbi Bosworth, Eric Hisaw, Chrissie Flatt, etc. Also, I'm always keeping an open mind for new people
PC: What CD would be found in your CD player right now?
RH: See answer number 9
