Minister Shae is a member of Rehoboth Outreach Christian Center, under the leadership of Dr. Beatrice Gardiner in Dallas, Texas.The Way Ministry was organized in 2003 by the president and founder Minister Sharae Young. The ministry was originally meant to help teen mothers and young females stay in school, to teach them to be a good mother, and help them with their self esteem. In helping only females, she started getting phone calls from young men that were teen fathers, dropout's, and that also needed guidance. So the ministry extended it's umbrella to all teens who wanted to be redirected into the right path.
Minister Shae was inspired to start this organization after growing up in a house hold seeing her mother every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays, reach out into the community in Houston, TX to feed them, cloth them, and make sure the kids had school supplies and shoes. As children,she and her siblings didn't understand why their mother would make them help feed other people and make sure other kids had school supplies and clothes. But today as an adult, she has realized and see that it was all in Gods plan because it has taught her how to help other people.
Today her mother has been featured on different TV programs, and has reached every top newspaper in Texas. Every year during the time of give a way's; she has the support of all of Houston's police department, the mayor, as well as top representatives. And is one of the top Outreach Programs in the state of TX. This has inspired Minister Shae even the more to try to make a difference in the lives of our youth. One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 22:6 TRAIN UP IN A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO AND WHEN HE IS OLD HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT. Parent's that mean to raise your children to the best of your ability with the love of Christ, the teachings Christ, and the ability to know who he really is. That child may stray away, but because of the right upbringing he will return. Minister Shae believe that you can concore any thing you sat out to do because there is nothing to hard for God to do.( Philippians 4:13 I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGHTENS ME ) She also believe that when God has ordained you to do something no matter what family, friends, or any one say, if you don't do what it is that you should be doing. Nothing will work until you yield to God. I am a strong believer that IF GOD DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR CONDITION, HE WILL CONDITION YOU FOR THE CHANGE.
