band. We’ve Had John Michael Schoepf come play some bass for us, as
well as Sterling Finlay. Lately we’ve been playing as the DedGougers
w/ members of the Sidehill Gougers playing Drums and Bass and other
things. Dedringers:
www.Lonestarmusic.com, www.Ourtracks.com,
shows. Dedringers: I don’t know that there are any that we are “most” proud of. I think we have to be proud of all of them in order to go out each night and play them over and over. PC: Is there anybody that the Dedringers would like to perform with or do a duet with? Dedringers: We recently played shows w/ James McMurtry and Hayes Carll and those guys are great. We like playing with great songwriters for their crowds are normally the best at listening. PC: Where do The Dedringers want to be in the next few years with your music career? Dedringers:
We’d like to be playing music for as many people as we can who will
still sit and listen. Dedringers: Playing at some of the great listening rooms such as The Blue Door in OKC, The Old Quarter, Anderson Fair...etc. PC: In your CD player right now, what CD would be found? Dedringers:
Jacksonville City Lights by Ryan Adams, the New Neil Young effort, Van
Morrison’s Back on Top, John Prine’s Fair and Square. |

| Biography |
The
Dedringers have been playing bars and venues since they were pre-teens .
They are mature beyond their years and their music and their demeanor will
prove that. You could say their debut EP is self titled in some respects.
Definitely, Purposely, Infinite. The Dedringers and their music are as
eclectic as an indie record shop, creating an atmosphere where you spend
hours revisiting old treasures and discovering new ones. With influences like Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Steve Earle, Gram Parsons, Todd Snider and Guy Clark, you can't help but find something to fall in love with in the mix. Don't be mistaken...their music is their own. Most importantly, the Dedringers take pride in the responsibility musicians have to uphold the traditions of those who came before them. They believe in the power of music and it's ability to move the hearts and souls of listeners. They are passionate, talented and two alright guys. The Dedringers captivate their audience with meaningful lyrics and witty tales of adventure and often demise. However, they are able to rock harder than twisted sister on a bender when called upon, because they arent gonna take mediocre performances anymore. I think these guys are the best writers in the whole 'Texas Music' scene. They are the ones to watch for."--Mike McClure, musician and producer. “It’s amazing to hear these 19 year-old kids writing and singing like seasoned veterans, along the lines of Dylan, Young and Prine…while the rest of the kids their age are practicing up Hoobastank and Linkin Park. They make me wish I was their age again.” - Grady Cross, Cross Canadian Ragweed The Dedringers have played at: Executive Surf Club, Corpus Christi The White Elephant, Ft.
