Open a new image, transparent background, 16.7 mill col. 350x411 pixels.
Go to Layers,Add a new raster layer.
Go to Selections/load from disk,Load sexylongboot.sel.
Flood fill normal#A01515 or what ever color you would like.
Go to Selections /float.
Go to effects/3d effects/cutout and apply:
vertical 1, horizontal 1, Opacity 100, blur 1.3
color black.
Go to selections/defloat but Keep selcted.
layers/add a new raster.
Change foreground color to #ffffff and background color null,
O.k. Now we are going to give it some detail.
On your tool options, go to paint brush and apply these settings:round size:15 hardness:50 opacity:100 step:25
density:100 build up paint unchecked.
Starting at the bottom of your boot,right above where your little toe would be if you were wearing it,paint a single line all the way up the boot,
see the one i did above.also on this layer paint a samll area on the heel.
When you are satisfied with your detail lines, keep it selected.
go to Retouch tool and apply these settings:smudge,
normal:round: size 13: hardness 35: opacity 52: step 25: density 54: sample merged unchecked.
This is not hard to do,We are just going to soften the edges of the white detail streak we just painted.
I just criss cross small strokes back and fourth over the white line.
When you are satisfied with your results,Go to
Effects/blur/gaussian blur and apply 4.96 radius.
If you don't like the way it looks after the blur,
Go back and edit/undo gaussian blur.And try to smudge a little more, It may take a little practice.
Now turn off layer 1.
Merge visible ,mergeing layers 2 & 3
