- draw a
diagonal line in the projection view going from the lower left to the
upper right.
- delete
all the top, front and side labels,all dimensions.
To Put in the diagonal and right angle lines on the drawing
do the following:

To Put in the dimensions do the following:
- type
in dimlinear <enter>
- type
endpoint <enter>
- select
lower left corner of the front view.
- up
arrow to recall endpoint <enter>
- select
lower right corner
- move
dimension line to ˝” below the box and click mouse.
- click
on dimension created
- right
click/ select precision/ 0.00 from drop down menu.
- repeat
steps 1 through 6 selecting the following points:
- lower
left corner, upper left corner of front view
- right
endpoint of sloping line, lower right corner of front view
- upper
left and lower left corners of top view
- lower
left of box in top view, upper left of box
- upper
left of same box, upper right of box
- Choose
dimension/align text/angle from menu
- select
dimension on lower right of front view
- type
in 90 <enter>
- repeat
steps 10 through 12 selecting dimensions on the left:
- front
view
- top
view
- left
side of box in top view
- Change
date and title
- Save
as ortho1.dwg
- plot
to limits
- You’re
done!
- Put it
in your binder
