Shane 'O Mac Defies Dad, WCW Breathes Again!
Another player in the world of sports entertainment
re-opened its doors today. That player being the former king of the wrestling industry, World Championship
wrestling! The WCW headquarters in Atlanta mysteriously re-opened today, as if it was 2001 all over again!
Shane McMahon, son of WWE owner Vince McMahon, released a statement later in the day saying what the signs
all pointed to! "I have re-opened the WCW, its time for me and my father to go our seperate ways. Its my
turn to stake my claim in the world of wrestling. I bought the WCW rights several years ago, in a way to
help my father's ratings.. Oh, but now, but now this place is mine. It'll rule the wrestling world all over
again!" An active roster, event calender, and pay-per-view titles are all still in the works. It'll be a while
before this NEW WCW gets off the ground. |

All
indications are that Thursday Night Thunder will be the very first event of the new, improved WCW! A date has not been set, however,
the venue has been. The WCW will open up in the spacious, top-of-the-line Fleet Center in Boston, Mass. It seems as though Thunder will
be the only event until the roster reaches a certain number, then Shane 'O Mac will divide up the roster and titles among Nitro and Thunder,
very WWE-like. That may be quite a whiles away, though. |

The name, date, venue of the first WCW "PPV" is still very much up in the air. The PPV, in all likelyness,
looks as if it will go down in early April-ish. Lots can change and a lot still has to happen before a PPV can even be talked about. Shane would like
to get two whole Thunders under the WCW's belt before taking the roster into a PPV. So, obviously, a PPV is far from the mind of the guy on top.. For
right now anyways. When a PPV is decided on, it will receive its own little mini-site and be linked to from this, the main page.
