Arrived at the Auckland Airport 5:55am Friday 6th of February 2004
Wesley,Sharon,Shirleen,Tasha,Dj ; Debbie & Don ; Marcus & Rhonda - friends were all waiting for me to come through arrivals at the Airport. The children bought me a bouquet of flowers and we sat while the children had breakfast, before loading the van for the trip home to Whangarei. On the way home we stopped Auckland's main street - Queen St and bought Dunkin Donuts. We stopped at a circus in Orewa and then again at the bottom of the Brynderwyns for Shirleen. Then it was back to Whangarei and Wisconsin Burger for lunch and then home. The burger was the size of a dinner plate with 1/3 lb of meat, bacon & avocado for $9.00. Too much to eat for one person. Brandon (Shirleen's boyfriend) visited for a while in the evening, but Wesley , Sharon and myself were all in bed by 8pm after having had a light supper of cold cuts and salad.
Saturday 7th February 2004
Today we have visited with Sharon's mom and stepdad, and with family friends John and Marilyn Hall. Wesley fixed a new passenger seat in the car and then worked on getting the BBQ ready for dinner.We visited Parahaki and stopped by a Boat show.
