History

LCJ Vintage is an online company dedicated to vending a variety of graphically designed T-shirts. The concept and main idea of LCJ Vintage was derived by a group of college students who saw the need of inexpensive, stylish T-shirts for the different clubs they are members of. Linda Flores, who spends most of her free time participating in school-sponsored organizations, needed to find less expensive shirts to offer the members of the club she leads. Josue O. Gaytan, a student of business administration, needed to find an easy way to generate some cash flow for school expenses. Cain Garza, a junior in the University of Texas Pan American, earned ten thousand dollars in a bet he had made. Cain looked around for several possibilities to invest his earnings. As Cain looked around he noticed the trouble Linda was going through, which sparked the idea of providing graphically designed t-shirts as a possibility for investment. During the same timeframe, Cain is introduced to Josue, who posses managerial skills. The idea of setting a small business was welcomed by all three students who started to develop steps and goals to implement in order to bring this business to life. Thus, the business plan being presented is the result of several months of structural work that will be the operational guidelines for LCJ Vintage. LCJ Vintage was opened for business operations on November 01, 2002.
