about this site

This site was created with the primary purpose of promoting and providing resources for the various students and faculty working under the supervision of Professor of Molecular Genetics Microbiology, Dr. Bob Sanders, and Professor of Nutritional Sciences, Dr. Kimberly Kline.

The current interests of the lab revolve around research regarding immunology, cancer, biology response modification, but specifically, the understanding of the role of Vitamin E compounds as tumor cell growth inhibitors through the inhibition of cell proliferation and the stimulation of programmed cell death, apoptosis.

The secondary function of this site is to provide another conduit for the resources and information as well the publications that result from the research to the public and generally those who are interested.
