The Grape
There was a grape growing in the field
Smart, strong, urging to wield
Itself into the land beyond the soil
Where it could overcome its every toil
From there worries about the hand, the picker
If only the vine, it thought, was thicker.
He loved the vine---it gave him life.
The vine the husband, the sun the loving wife.
Oh! How the grape basks in the glory
But here comes the end of the story
A simple pluck and the life has ended
The grape in a mouth, dying while suspended.

But back to magic, the vision, the treat
Too involved in the movie for a snack, to eat.
Such good action, such comedy, such fun!
It makes one wonder what more is to come
Dory could tell a story
She would start it, then would forget.
But how adorable, how gay, the little fish is
