Most runners and walkers are classified into groups based on age. If you have finished a previous marathon, you will be classified as a general marathon runner and you will start first.

Please choose your category based on the following information:

Marathon Categories

Men	Under 18	19-35	36-55	Over 55	All ages
Women	Under 18	19-41	42-57	Over 57	All ages
Note: Please register in the age group for your age as of May 31.

Prizes

A total purse of $25,000 will be distributed to the top three runners in each category. In addition, runners placing fourth through 10th in each category will receive a trophy, a certificate of completion, and an exemption coupon to run next year's race without paying the registration fee.
