How to Install Manual Boost Controller

The first step is to locate to boost sensor which is clipped on to the stock airbox between the box and the strut tower. Its very easy to get off, it isnt glued on or anything like that.

Now that the boost sensor is removed, you can see which hose we will be removing to patch in the boost controller. This is the hose that goes to the Wastegate actuator.

Now you need to remove the hose.

The next thing you need to do is get your valve and find a small piece of hose or tubing that you can use to patch the small amount needed from the controller to the sensor unit and attach it onto the inlet of your boost controller. Make sure to use zip ties or wire fasteners (as shown) to insure that the hose is securely on and will not fall off.

After you have prepared the boost controller, you now must attach the wastegate acuator hose to the Outlet of the boost controller.

Almost done, you now must take the extra piece of tubing and secure it where the original hose was located, on the free opening on the boost sensor.

The last thing left to do is to put the boost sensor back on the little clip on the back of the air box where it originally was, and your all finished installing your manual boost controller.
