BML Modifications for Picky Gliders!

Try serving at different temperatures (just out of the freezer, room temp, slightly warmed)

Experiment with brands of babyfood and apple juice, flavors of juice w/ yogurt, baby cereal

Blend ingredients from the bottom up

If you are using the eggshells, leave them out next time

Try blending longer, if that doesn't work, try blending less

Mix some BML in with each dish

Mix all "courses" together with the BML

Feed as a licky treat

Put the BML out alone to encourage them to eat it, add the fruits and veggies later in the night.

Mix their favorite fruit or veggie into the BML so they have to lick the BML off to get to it

Serve over meal worms

Tough Love: Feed nothing but BML for a night or two, if they get hungry, they will eat it

Use applesauce instead of honey

Couple drops of PURE maple syrup on top

Mix in or drizzle a bit of nectar on top

Add one jar of baby food sweet potatoes and corn to one batch

Ice with a favorite licky treat

Leave out the apple juice and throw in a small palmful of blueberries - just enough so that when blended the BML has a very slight purple tinge to it.

Melt BML in the microwave for 10 seconds and then add a drop of yogurt to it and swirl that in

Use different flavors of juice instead of apple (stay away from anything too acidic like orange or cranberry)

Suggestions for Icing BML

**When Icing BML, make sure to make grooves in the BML so that the “icing” gets mixed in a bit and doesn’t just sit on top.**

Favorite Yogurt (not fat free, no aspartame)

Favorite Baby food (some suggestions: sweet potatoes, sweet potatoes and corn, Hawaiian delight, apple blueberry, chicken with gravy, pears)

Bit of mashed avocado

Applesauce or flavored applesauce
