My life is rated NC-17.
What is your life rated?

This site is dedicated to my favorites (take 2). It's just a little hobby to pass the time away while I'm doing nothing at the moment. The subjects range from actors to sports, from schools to games. First though, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. Now some of you might know where Lubbock is, but for you who don't, it's in northwest Texas. I went to 13 pre-schools (I was kind of a hell raiser when I was young), and attended Christ the King. Talk about hell. I attended Lubbock High School my junior and senior year. I graduated and received an academic scholarship to Texas Tech, and am now a Red Raider alumnus. I am 24 years old, play sports, work out, hang out with my friends, and many other things. Well enough about that, let me get to what I made this site for, my faves.

To my favorite college in the world, the University of Florida! It has one of the greatest campuses and some of the finest women. Not only are you in Florida, but you're not that far from almost any beach and pretty close to Orlando too. If there is anything you can count on in this world is that the GATOR'S are going to come ready to play every game. The best rivalry in the nation is without a doubt the Florida vs. Florida State game. Every year is a game for all ages, and rarely do you see a blowout. Also among great GATOR sports is the basketball team. I have a feeling with all the talent that they carry, the national championship they seek is right around the corner. This is a future grad school option.

 dallasmavs.jpg

Let's move onto the subject of basketball. I have two teams I try and watch all the time. My fave are the Dallas Mavericks , my second favorite are the San Antonio Spurs . The Mavs are just a bad ass team. It seems like every year they loose a good player, and then add two. My only beef with them is their lack of defense, and that seems to be a reoccurring beef. I really think they are one big man away from winning the NBA championships. With the Spurs, they are coming off a championship year. Is there a player on the court smoother than Tim Duncan. That guy can do it all, and he is one of the all time great sportsmen. The game would be so much better if all of the other players took a cue from him and just played the game instead of trash talking the whole time and showing off. But some things will never change. These are two bad ass teams that have the chance to make a run deep in the playoffs every year!

 saspurs.jpg

Now onto my favorite athlete in the world. He's a bad-ass on the Dallas Cowboys and one of their best leaders, Emmitt Smith This man has accomplished so much in his career and is a great role model. Here are a few of his accomplishments.

3 Super Bowl Rings (XXVII, XXVIII, & XXX)
Super Bowl XXVIII MVP
1993 NFL MVP
1991-93, 95 NFL Rushing Champion
1990 NFL Rookie of the Year

NFL Records
Most Rushing Touchdowns (career) -- 136
Most Rushing Touchdowns (season) -- 25
Most Rushing Touchdowns (Super Bowl) -- 5
Most Rushing Touchdowns (postseason) -- 19
Most Touchdowns (postseason) -- 21
Most Points (postseason) -- 126
Most Games with 100+ Yards Rushing (postseason) -- 7

Now if these accomplishments are not worthy of the Hall Of Fame, I can't tell you what are. His dedication, sportsmanship, off the field example and loyalty are what make Emmitt Smith my favorite athlete. His dedication to Graduate from the University of Florida while in the NFL should be an example to us all to finish what we start no matter what comes up.

Dallas.gif Now to my favorite football teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Bucaneers. The Cowboys were the surprise of 2003 with Bill Parcells at the controls. I don't think anyone was expecting the turnaround that they had from a crappy almost last place finish to a playoff appearance. The way things are looking, it's only a matter of time before they make it back to the Super Bowl. Just wish Emmitt was there to see it. And then there are the 2003 Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Bucaneers who had a meltdown this year. It's like the Super Bowl winners from the year before are destined to collapse the next year. Who knows, maybe next year is the year for both of these teams. Bucs1.gif

braves.jpg Now onto my favorite baseball team, the 1995 World Champion Atlanta Braves. Every year they look like a solid team, like they could go all the way and win it all. Most years they finish with the best record, and for the last 13 years have won the division, a feat that has never been accomplished before. The only problem is that they seem to fall apart every year in the post-season. Who knows what next season will look like. As long as they bring back their key players, it should be a pretty good season, but they need to find the answer for their post-season flops and finish the job they started sooner or later. But through thick and thin, they'll always be my team. Hopefully Smoltz will stay healthy and make another run at the save mark this year!

My favorite hockey team are the 1998-1999 Stanley Cup Championv Dallas Stars. First of all, I'm not really that big of a hockey fan, but I always seem to watch the Stars. They way things are going, no one will be watching any kind of hockey next season. But my favorite hockey player is Mike Modano. He's not afraid to battle the boards and take a few swings at people. It's going to be interesting to see how they finish this year. You've got to respect any sport where fighting on the playing surface is allowed. I mean, look at some of the guys who walk off the ice, not too pretty. I also like the Stars because they are a very physical team, which is always a plus. I think in a couple more years (if there's still and NHL), they will make it back to the finals at lest. Stars.jpg

seanconnery.jpg Sean Connery is the greatest actor of all time. How can anyone beat the original James Bond. This guy has done it all, and he's still going strong. He was born in August of 1930, and started off in small parts in the theater and modeling to help take his career off. He spent three years in the royal navy, and then returned to Edinburgh where he took up body building. What started as a hobby ended up being his ticket to fame. He placed third in the 1950 Mr. Universe title. He starred in seven Bond picture, and many other roles in some really great movies. Some of his awards and honors are as follows: In July of 2000, he was Knighted "Sir Sean Connery" by Queen Elizabeth II in Edinburgh, Scotland, 2001 William Wallace Award, 2001 Palm Springs Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award, 1998 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) by the British Academy Fellowship (The highest award presented by BAFTA for achievement in world cinema), 1991 Scot of the Year, 1990 Man of Culture Award, a Golden Globe, 1988 American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Oscar winner for BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR for the film "The Untouchables", and many, many others.
With the grace of God, hopefully we will have this great actor honor us with many more of his cinematic masterpieces.

To the all time greatest band in the world, Aerosmith. I really don't know how they keep doing it year in and year out, but they do. I think these guys might live forever, which would be fine by me. They keep coming out with chart toppers every year, and have won many music awards. Since 1964, Aerosmith has been bringing the tunes that we all love, such as "Janies Got a Gun", "Dude Looks Like A Lady", "Crazy", "Eat the Rich", "Full Circle", and many, many others. I think Steven Tyler is one of the best vocalist around. I'm sure every guy in the world loved the "Crazy" video with Liv Tyler and Alicia Silverstone in it. I was lucky enough to see them in concert in 1995, and I have been blessed once again. Aerosmith is making it back to Lubbock on March 11th, 2004. You'd better believe that I'm gonna be there. They are also touring with KISS this time. If this concert is anything like the last one, I am sure it's going to be awesome. aerosmith.jpg

 cuervo.gif

On to the greatest alcohol. There's nothing quite like a straight up tequila shot, unless it's a free straight up tequila shot. I've been drinking Cuervo since as long as I can remember, and from the first time I took a shot, I was hooked and knew no other drink would be quite like this. I also like making bad ass margaritas with it too, but it's gotta be a strong one. It's not a big subject to talk about, but it is a fave, so I thought I'd throw it in.

Eeyore1.jpg I know some people might think this is weird, but my favorite cartoon character isCurious George then Eeyore. For those of you guys who don't know who Eeyore is, he's a character on Winnie the Pooh, and one of the best one too. He's a grey donkey (grey for his mood) who mopes around saying "Everything’s great as long as everything’s grey". I guess he's my favorite because I can relate to him so well. Just like the pic to the left, I usually feel like I'm waking around with a rain cloud over my head. His tail is also a funny story. I'd loose my head if it wasn't attached to my body just like his tail always gets lost. Unlike him though, I'm not ALWAYS in a bum mood (contrary to what my friends always say). Only like 70% of the time I am LOL. Curious George is my FAVORITE because he is into everything. He's always in trouble no matter where he goes. Sounds just like me, huh guys. Well, he's the best character. As if monkeys being my favorite animal wasn't good enough, a monkey with my personality (LOL). You guys know what I mean. CG.gif

 1997.jpg
Western.gif Well, about my High School, Lubbock High School. I loved it. I was part of the graduating class of 1997. I must say that those could possibly be the best years of my life. It was awesome. The sports, the friends, the parties, everything. I must say I met my favorite teacher and the one who made the biggest influence on my life there, Mrs. Duncan. If she ever sees this page, I would just like to thank her for her time, wisdom, knowledge, and patience. I know that students going through her class will be changed forever. Thank you Mrs. Duncan! ttu.gif And on to Texas Tech, the school I received my degree at. This is the school that Bob Knight made famous. It's pretty weird to have a basketball team that is a strong contender, but that's what Knight has done to this team. The football team didn't do too shabby either. I have high hopes for next season. I tried out for the football team in 1998, but tore up my knee and that ended my career. I graduated in December of 2003 with a International Business and Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management degrees. I have no idea what I'm going to do with those, but I've got plenty of time to figure it all out. I will always be a proud supporter of my alumni’s athletics, but I will forever hate the school. Got screwed over by them one too many times, so lets just hope no one ever tries to call me to donate some money to them, or they're probably going to get an earful.

 halo.jpg
Now it's on to my all time favorite video game, Halo. This is, by far, the best game ever made. If you've never played it, I warn you, it's VERY addictive. The people up at Bungie have made a great game, and they didn't just settle for that. On April 1st, 2004, Halo 2 is coming out. From what I see on the demos, it is going to be a thousand times better than the original, and that is pretty hard to accomplish. It's the game where the Humans battle the Covenant for the survival of mankind, and you play the role of Master Chief Spartan 117, John. There are also currently three books about the game and plot that are all VERY good if you like sci-fi game books. Take my word for it, pick up an X-Box controller and play it today, you won't regret it! If you have played it and are in fact normal and like it, then you need to check out Red vs Blue. It is a great web site made by some individuals who make short humor clips using Halo. It is actually quite funny and worth the time to download. These guys did a REALLY great job with it, good job guys! mc.gif

zk.jpg And last, but certainly not least, is the topic of girls. This is me and my girlfriend Katie, the most beautiful, loving, caring, sweetest, funniest girl in the world. We started going out on October 5th of 2003, and I have loved every minute of it. She makes me happier than I've been in a long time, and I love her to death, even if she is a Texas A&M Aggie, but we'll forgive her. Talk about a rivalry relationship, it gets fun around Texas Tech vs Texas A&M time, although I always seem to get the bragging rights. But she keeps me honest and strong and has always been my support when I needed her. If every man in the world had a woman like this by their side, they would live a long, happy life. She is my blessing, and I want this opportunity to thank her for all she has done for me, and the patience she gives me in our relationship, because long distance relationships are a hard thing. Thanks for always being there and being in my life.

What Is Your Battle Cry?
