JOHNATHON ALAN IS HERE! |
Well we did it. Johnathon Alan is here. He was born on Sept. 8th at 1:33 pm. He weighed 7lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long.
Sharon woke me up at 11:58 on the 7th and we were at the hospital by 12:29. She wanted to curl her hair first and put make-up on, I dont think so. I tossed her in the car and we were off to have a baby. She got an epidural at about 2:30 am and it did not work. She was misserable until 7:00 am when they decided it was not just her being a wimp about pain and gave her another one.
Sharon's sister was a life saver as she was there with me the whole time. It would have been tough without her. She was definitly a trooper. We started pushing at about 12 noon and had him as I said at 1:33. Sharon and Johnathon did great, really no problems at all.
My Dad and Anne were here the first week and really helped Sharon get used to her new life. I think my Dad even changed a poopy. Anne is loving being a first time grandma. Kayla was here as well and was delighted to have a new baby brother. She was a huge helper for Sharon and myself (letting me get sleep)
