Darkness falls so I go to bed
I do not sleep but think instead
Of my Love, her beauty fills my head
And then just like that tears I shed.
Why is it that I am in this plight?
Why is it I am so helpless to fight?
Can this be truly what is right?
To lay alone, my love missing by my side at night?
If only she would know all she means to me
For her beauty is so I want the world to see
I would go anywhere just as long shes with me
Her presence always sets me free.
Yes this may seem a tid bit sad
My life isn’t all that bad
For her to be missing does make me sad
But for the time I do have with her am I glad!
