The walk start/finish. We got there late, so there were people already finishing up.

Before we got onto the hiking trail we passed a playground area.

This is the way most of the walk looked. Just great wooded area. UP and down hills.

This girl was in front of us. We caught up with her when she missed a turn. We walked together for awhile, and she told us this was her first Volksmarch.

There were lots of small creeks with wood bridges.

There was a waterfall with ice.

These ladies who had been behind us, passed us right before the finish.

The park service was doing a controlled burn to clear underbrush.
