This, my friends, is a tribute donated by a future writer, Jada Kent. This tribute she did in fun and even though it's sole purpose is to make fun of me, I can accept that, because she says so many good things about me. She doesn't realize that this means so much to me, so I made this page, and I would like everyone to read this (even though it is long, for those of you who know me very well you will have a good laugh), and see what nice things a person can say about you even when you have stabbed her in the back and broken her heart more than once. To Jada: Thank you hunnie! I absoulutely love this to death, and it means the absolute world to me that you would say this about me, even if you didn't mean it! I luv ya hun! ~*~LaUrA~*~
Laura Plain and Tall..... though this may sound like the Laura you all knew, it was not. Laura was very much a tall person indeed. Though Plain is not the word that should be remembered when you think of her. For Plain she was not, by far. Laura was blonde. Seriouslly, her hair was blonde. But within the deepth of those roots.... came something more. Vunerabillity. She would belevie anything you told her. If not beind truly blind to the fictious then to make you think she was. Yes Laura was a character among all others. She once upon a time refered to herself as L.L.Bean... merely because she noticed it was the brand of her backpack. Yes Laura could be quite dinggy at times. But this still is not how she should be remembered. Laura was....... unique.
She was on of the snowflakes who escaped being traped in the snowglobe. Tragic yet.... for it twas not a snowglobe she was escaping. It was the brain center. But do not be fooled. Laura was not a stupid person. She worked hard to succeed in life. She was acctepted, unlike all of us. Accepted into TAMS.... even though her 'friends' did not approve. Laura was the one who invinted the word gulible. If you told her it was writin on the celing she would laugh at you... but while you werent looking she would check to make sure. Yes Laura is truelly going to be missed. But with every cloud is a silver lining. And if she knew that we were here makeing fun of the things she did so that our memories of her lived on, she would say "Danielle, you really do owe Jada $300.... I looked everywhere, and 2Pac really isnt dead."
Then when she realized that she just made a fool of herself even in death, she would play it off with "Look over there, its ELVIS!!!" At this she would run away. So friends, family, old boyfriends.... think of Laura not when you hear the names 2Pac or Elvis. Think of Laura when your in defeat. When you fail at something. Because if Laura was still here, you know she would not have failed. She would have lived life and prospered. But since she has fallen short on 1/2 of that deal, lets not hold that against her. So in closeing I would like to sing a song. A song that reminds me of Laura. And maybe it will live on in you as it did me.... if you know the words sing along.
The greatest girl i never knew..... used to live just down the block. For a while, we never had too much to say... we didnt talk the talk. Everyday we'd say hello, but that was that in yellow. The greatest girl i never knew..... was in my band. She was so excited... she always tapped her hand. She was good at school, I wasnt at all. She never said the words to be said, i bet she thought i knew.
