There is only one entrance to this cemetery...through the Lichgate or corpse gate. Across the street from the cemetery is Bucaneer's Stadium. This closeness has led to a great deal of vandalism to the cemetery over the years.

In the oldest part of the cemetery, the markers have a feet facing east alignment. In the newer part of the cemetery, the markers face many directions. This photo was taken from a curve in the drive. From it, you can see markers facing east and north. The large centerally located marker is actually facing north-east.

This line of family markers dates back to the time of the American Civil War. In fact, the center marker is for a man who died as a soldier in the War. This Mr. Dunn immigrated from Ireland.

This old cross marker bears a porcelon portrait of the deceased. The inscription is in Czech.

A few yards from the Czech language marker stands this elaborate Crucifix marker. All the wording is in Spanish. The deceased was born in Mexico.

Before this large marker is a pot of living cactus.

In the older part of the cemetery is this concrete crypt. The lines for the entryway on the front of the crypt can still be seen although they have been mortared over. Repairs have been made and are evidenced by a mound of concrete with gravel embedded on it on the top.

What a very unusual and touching marker. This small child's marker features a statue of a reposed child protectively covered by a scallop shell. The shell is symbolic of the Earth Mother and can be found in Botecelli's Venus paintings as well.

On the left marker, the name of the dead child is written in small pebbles embedded in the concrete.
