~Someone to Adore~


There is one thing that I long for,
and that is someone to adore.
Someone who'll hold me when I'm sad,
and tell me all my fears aren't bad.
They'd understand me when I cry,
and never have to wonder why.
To be all that someone needs
would put my lonely heart at ease.
I long to give that special touch
to one who wants and needs so much.

But in addition to this plea
I want someone adoring me.
Who loves me whether happy or sad
and cares for me when times get bad
They'll wipe my bitter tears away
and by my side they'll always stay.
And over time our love would grow,
my heart would be all theirs to know.
Is this something to much to ask?
Is loving me to hard a task?
