    The current I-6 is beginning to leak and burn a little bit of oil and the famous Carter carb is living up to its name.  Instead of spending the $1000-$1500 on an engine rebuild I have chosen to spend a little more and reap the benefits of fuel injection.  I have decided to go with a Chevrolet 4.3 liter V-6 that is Throttle Body Injection.  Not only is this engine compact and easily adapted to, but it has plenty of torque and horsepower for a CJ-5.
