                      Range Estimation: To find:

                                  Range in meters = Size of tgt in inches x 25.4/height of tgt in mils

                                  Range in yards = Size of tgt in inches x 27.77/height of tgt in mils

                                  Size of tgt in meters = (Range in meters x .001) x mils

                                  Size of tgt in yards = (Range in yards x .001) x mils

                                  Size of tgt in mils = Range in m/(size if tgt (in) x 25.4) or Range in yd/(size of tgt(in)x27.77)

                     Moving targets: To find:

                                 Lead in feet from center mass = TOF(sec) x Tgt speed (fps)

                                 Lead in mils from leading edge = (lead (ft) from ctr mass x 12) -6

                                                                                               (range x .035)

                    Slope dope:

                                    Correct distance = Gun target distance x COS of angle
