Question:
What
was it like to be a blonde on "Return to Peyton Place"?
Answer:
Being a blonde wasn't all that memorable. The cast were
really nice people and we all enjoyed working together, so that made it very
special.
Question:
You've had the distinction of portraying to former First
Ladies, Nancy Reagan and Pat Nixon. Did you find yourself more interested in
history/politics after having done those roles?
Answer:
Being in a
historical drama is very exciting. The "Brady" movie was especially thrilling
because the cast met with the Brady family and we did promotional pieces for
the movie. It was like being a part of history and I was very honored to be a
part of it. I thought everyone did a phenomenal job on that picture and I'm
very proud of it.
Question:
Not counting General Hospital or Port Charles, of course,
which TV show or movie was the most fun to work on or that you enjoyed the
most?
Answer:
Working on other projects has always been fun,
meeting new people, working with friends I've worked with before, etc.
Shooting a TV show or a movie is really different than soaps, too. I guess if
I had to pick, I'd say that I loved doing "The Andromeda Strain" and "The
Final Years."
Question:
You've said that you enjoy traveling, have you been on any
interesting trips lately? What's your favorite repeat destination? Where would
you like to go that you've never been?
Answer:
Oh, I just returned
from Colorado and it's very lovely there (04/01). I will always want to go
back. As to a place I've never been, I'd love to go farther South in France
than I've ever been, maybe to Tuscany.
Question:
Do you have any pets?
Answer: Oh, yes, I have the
most wonderful dog that I rescued from the animal shelter. His name is Willie
and he's just adorable! I've had many dogs and cats, and just don't feel right
unless there's one around.
Question:
Have you kept up with Mark Miller, one of your co-stars from
"Bright Promise"?
Answer:
I've seen him on occasion. He once asked
me to do a project with him that he wrote, but I was unavailable at the time.
I run into his daughter, Penelope Ann and just recently saw her in her new
movie, "Along Came a Spider." They're lovely people.
