I figured I would keep a running timeline of the updates and announcments for this site... heh, not to even mention that it helps to organize everything on one page for search engines.
On a lighter note, expect to see some of the first D&D stuff appearing on the site today, such as the setting of one of the darker cities in Divinity Cross, Phalinghast ( Fal-en-ghast ).
More to come as the day goes one...
Anyway... updates to the site... I have decided to join the Webring known as the Phoenixring. This ring was forged in the fiery heart of the phoenix itself and carries a archaic inscription... "One ring to rule them, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them..." To the Negative Demon! But don't think that this is some stupid ring that makes you invisible... no no, this ring gives us all X-ray vision, and perpetual hard-ons from the various disrobed chicks walking around.
I am currently deciding what content to bring to this hallow site, and though I know that no one is reading this, I feel comforted by this release, and hope it will help me to my decisions.
In other news, I decided to start writing a book based on a D&D campaign I will probably never get to run... look for it on the bookshelfs of your favorite store in the next few NEVERS... I'm writing this for me, and doubt that my talents are enough to get Wizards to publish it. I may be vain, but at least I am realistic. Who knows, I may just publish it on this site, for the world to read for free!! However, we will see...
Once again a mid day update... not only am I writing the book based on a D&D campaign... but I've decided to bring the campaign here. The world, new prestige classes, equipment, spells, items, ect... Hope ya'll like it. In addition, at least parts of the story I'm writing will make it to this site, so that the feel of the world can be gained in the same way that we all have learned about Faerun and Krynn. heh, maybe even it might grab the attention of Wizards ( so I either get sued or get a job ;P ).
Peace till lata, Negative Demon
NOTHING!!
I have 2 exams tomorrow... nuff said... Hell, I shouldn't even be on today!
Actually... there was more time in the day than Exams at school so here I am! So back in character...
On the site's 8th day of life the Dragon appeared before the Negative Demon. The Dragon, being a master of the martial arts ( and more importantly, the arts of seducing women ), is held in high regards by the Negative Demon. "When you return to Rhode Island, we must fight so I can guage how well your training has improved you" The Dragon said with a half cocked smile. "We shall fight, and I will lose..." The Negative Demon casually replied... "...but, we shall fight" He added. The Dragon and the Negative Demon talked for hours, and then the Dragon noticed that his realm is not honored by the Negative Demon. When confronted with this, the Negative Demon stated that his realm was in its infant stages, however as he spoke his eyes flared to life. Mountains moved, oceans dried up and were reformed elsewhere... When it was all over, the gate ( known as a link ) to the Dragon's realm was formed... The Dragon and the Negative Demon smiled, and both said "it was good."
Also it is worth mentioning that not too much has happened over the last five days, since I have been studying for exams, learning HTML and Javascript, and basically have been drawing up ideas for this site, most of which I am still questioning... but we will see. Also, since I'm not indexed yet on any search engines, I doubt that anyone besides my friends are seeing this site right now, but you've got to start somewhere right?
On this day, since it is the Negative Demon's 20th birthday, the Negative Demon rested...
Of course, the Negative Demon looked upon a vastly empty realm that contained vain, self imposed, pages expressing love of Angelfire. So the Negative Demon cast his wrath upon these imposed pages, ridding the filth from his realm, he then smiled and said, "it was good."
From the Negative Demon's high vantage point in cyberspace, known as his computer, he realised his site lacked content. So he set out to bring content to his newborn realm and he suddenly realised... Strong in the force known as HTML, he is not! Saddened by his limitations, the Negative Demon look to Phoenix, master of Unreal CTF, and demanded to be shown the arcane ways of HTML. Phoenix looked upon the Negative Demon as a disciple, and gladly showed the Negative Demon to the halls of WebMonkey, and taught him the forbidden practice of Right Click->View Source. Negative Demon looked upon the vast knowledge the Phoenix laid out before him, smiled and said, "it was good."
Thus the realm you currently see started, and only got better! and might I say, "it IS good!"
Peace till lata, Negative Demon
