Well this month I have been working on this site for almost and year. A lot has happened to me and to our Nation. On a personal note I am now engaged to Jason Moore and looking forward to many things. On nation note it has been a roller coaster of feelings. I am sure as you read this you will be nodding your heads. For about a month I was floating on air in knowing that we did take this nation back. But, like most good things the floating came to an end. Just past the year mark of Sept. the 11th the same old feeling crept back into Washington. Democrats find themselves leaderless and divided. Good! While the Senate plays games with future judges our nation is on the edge of war. Only a few weeks ago did the nations alert status return to orange. It was at this time that I sat with my parents and Jason. My father spoke of the ol' duck and cover method he was taught at school when nuclear war was a threat. He said it was scary and when it ended he was happy. As a young couple Jason and I stress the fact that we didn't want to live in an America with alerts. Who does? Freedom is so precious.
