Slipknot Members To Unmask For Side Project

Slipknot leadman Corey Taylor and guitarist James Root will reportedly unmask for the release of their side project "Stone Sour"s first CD. The release date is set for early September, and new tracks are already widely availible on such internet file-sharing utilities as Kazaa and Morpheus. The newly formed group has also just finished filming their new music video for the single "Get Inside".

Stone Sour originates from Slipknot's early days, but the group never got off the ground in hometown Des Moines, Iowa.

"The music will sound like a mix between Metallica and Alice In Chains," Taylor commented when asked how the music will sound, "we'll be trying to wreak a new kind of havoc." MJ
