Matthew Robert McGill was born on May 17, 1984 in
Bryan, Texas. He was always a very inquisitive boy who
was behind his dad with every step. By age 10, he
became interested in computers. By 16, he could fix
any problem you had with a computer as well as build
one from scratch. At the same time, with the help
of his drivers license, he became fascinated with
cars. He was always under the hood and loved being
there.
While a senior in high school, he got a job at a
body repair shop and loved it. He amazed the owner
at how well he could do the work. After graduation,
he got a job a Firestone and started at ground
level changing tires. Within a few weeks, they were
throwing all kinds of auto repair work at him
and he never failed to be able to handle it.
He was a very smart young man who would try anything
He knew he could do anything if he just tried.
And he always did. He had many friends and
would help anyone who needed him. He had a fiance,
Sheila Morales, who he planned to marry in 2003.
He loved her and took great care of her.
He was great support to his family and his friends.
A drunk driver tragically took his life from us in an
automobile accident on 9/22/02. He survived for a day
and a half with severe brain trauma in the hospital,
fighting for his life. He died on September 24, 2002
at 12:49 P.M.
He will forever be missed by all that knew him.
He is now our angel in heaven. We all love him.
