Welcome! These pages are designed to help the area Christian Churches and fellowships keep the public informed as to what is happening in Christianity in our Local community of Greenville Texas. Happenings, revivals, events, new pastors, Church visions, helping the poor, Christian unity...all these things will be reflected in the "Greenville Christian News", as well as inciteful and thought provoking articles on the state of Christian learning and thought from a variety of Local pastors and writers. This is the forum to tell others about your faith, your church, and your Lord. We will also be accepting ads for our church directory. This is of no cost to any church. Donations to continue this work are accepted, but not required. It is our faith that God will provide the means to keep this going once started. We will also be high lighting and introducing various churches, Pastors, Evangelists, and charities. to help further their ability to serve the community. Its in Greenville! The Church highlighted for the month of October is the Church of the Open Door. 3009 Lee street. The Pastor is Wesley Ford,a man many in the community are already familiar with due to his giving nature and concern for the poor.
Pastor Wesely Ford The Church of the Open door has a thirst for souls and a truly loving spirit. It is their goal to be a church of Love in the family of God , reaching out to bring the Good news of the Gospel of Jesus to all who will listen. They do this by feeding the hungry and giving clothing to the poor and whatever is donated to them that they may continue this work. They have a vibrant sunday morning service, which start s at 10 AM with singing ,prayer and sermon, with many in the congregation sharing in the service, not just sitting in a pew. Thursday night at 7 PM they have a singing. Pastor Ford invites all to visit..you are welcome.
