Welcome to the Official Fiesta Pony Club Web Site

Fiesta Pony Club, formerly known as Solbacka Pony Club, submited the requisite New Club Application and Articles of Organization to the United States Pony Club office on April 3, 1990. Solbacka PC was originally a club in the Red River region, and began with three new members, and five transferring from Alamo PC. By the end of the first year, six more new members joined the club.

In July 1991, Solbacka PC was granted Recognized Status by the Board of Governors. That fall, the club sponsors requested a name change from Solbacka to Fiesta. The change was granted in February of 1992. One year later, Fiesta changed regions, from Red River to where it is presently, the Rio Grande Region.

The first Disrtrict Coordinator of the new Solbacka Pony Club was Karen Gannon, who remained in office until Bernadette Ristaino took over the office in 1992. Lynne Boyer took office in fall 1994, with Barbara Guidry functioning as Joint DC. In 1995, Margot Connor was elected DC, and remained until Barbara Guidry took over in 1999. The current DC is Ann Parham, who seized the reins in January 2000.

"Michelle Guidry became the first upper level member from Fiesta Pony Club, achieving her B rating on August 10, 1991, her HA on June 11, 1993, ad her A on August 25, 1996."
