Elkhart House Project -

September 7, 2002

After some repair work on the dozer, we started to remove the hill behind the house.  Actually a lot more room there now.

The old JD 350c.  Sure beats a shovel.
We're barely in and I have a redo.  Mischelle found this new backsplash so off with the old and on with the new.  Worst part is I had to break out the drywall mud.
A lot of dirt work with the dozer and tractors.
Looking at the angle of the hill in the back, you can sort of see where the hill use to end up in the back.  To date we've cleaned it out a bit more and laid a little mixed soil over the top and planted some rye.
A look to the north, a nice slope into a water drainage area.
Looking back toward the county road.
