Elkhart House Project -

Rain has been killing us.   It's been wet or raining every weekend.  And a lot of rain.  Even though it did rain a bit on Saturday, I did get the dozer's engine overhaul complete and it running.  Now the track wants to roll off all the time.  Fortunately on level ground it's ok.  It did come off on the road near the house.

Got the dirt in an a pretty even 4" in the middle of the slab.  Outside beam will range from 11" to maybe 15" on the down side of the hill.  I'm still seeing 1 truck or about 10 yards doing this.

With the rain and time I didn't even get to mow.  But while I had the dozer I did  increase the size of the backyard again.  I pushed up a bunch of clay and ore to fill the ramp and sides of the garage.  I'll probably need more but that was all I had time for.   Plenty more clay where that came from.

With Mothers Day we ran out of time to close in and finish the form.  Maybe the next rainy weekend.
