First thing was to get Johnny and Taylor unstuck from the river bottom.

The foundation dirt prep pretty much complete.

Look at the Kabota tractor on the right.  That is a lot of dirt!

Here is a good side view, you can see the strings on the sticks.  We want the dirt about 4 inches under the string all the way across.  I still have to dig out some of the dirt for the beams.

Another look from the front.  Clay is the fill dirt but you can see the nice sandy loam for topsoil everywhere else.
