Compatibility Issues

DVDs are not like CDs, they have compatibility issues. Will a DVD I record or burn work in your DVD Player or DVD ROM? The answer is a resounding maybe. Before spending a ton of money ordering a bunch of DVDs from me, I suggest that you only get one. Test it out to see if it works. If it works great, order as many as you like the next time. I can’t be responsible for compatibility issues, so you’ve only lost a few bucks. I put up a compatibility chart below to help. These are players that I’ve tested with my DVDs and work. Doesn’t necessarily mean that if you have the same one that it work, but they should. Also the older you DVD ROM gets the more finicky it gets. They can have more problems reading disc after extended use.

Notes: Players listed in Green are owned or tested by me personally. The big surprise is the Pioneer DV-505, it normally can’t play anything burnt as it’s a second generation DVD Player. I though for sure since the Pioneer work the Apex AD-600A would work but it didn’t.
