Mission Statement

The mission of CREST (Coalition of Reading and English Supervisors of Texas) is to promote literacy through reading, writing, listening, speaking, viewing, and representing so that all students experience success. Since research shows that reading and writing are most effectively taught in conjunction with one another, CREST is committed to providing relevant information and current research to Texas reading and English language arts supervisors through conferences and newsletters.
