The Master Peace Officer Certification. Our six officers have over 120 years combined experience as peace officers here in Texas. The requirements for this certification are very strict and the standards are set high.

K-9/Narcotics Officer Mark Wilcox and Officer Rocky have been instrumental in the decrease of drug activity in Clifton. Officer Wilcox and Rocky have just returned from Mississipi where they completed their yearly certification.

Taking the Department into the twenty first century, Chief Childress and Officer Mark Wilcox show the new Mobil Data Computers in the patrol units. There were 4 laptops purchased from funds donated by Patricia Coy while she was Bosque County Attorney. These laptops allow the Officers in the field to access drivers license, vehicle information, wanted checks from DPS Austin.
