                                         This is me!

About me (Gee, you must really be bored!)

Well, I'm 21 years old and live in the best city there is named Victoria, A.K.A. "The city of endless things to do"

because of the endless possibilities of things to do and the variety of places to go. (heh heh, anyone who knows

Victoria knows I'm am definitely kidding about that) I first started playing guitar in late March or early April of my

seventh grade year. I'll be coming up on my sixth year pretty soon! Back in those days I was like a human Metallica

tab book or something. That was the first band that really got me into music, then I heard good ol' Randy Rhoads.

This guy changed my life pretty darn much. After that phase (which was about two years into playing) I found a

guitarist with an insane style of playing. His name was Marty Freidman (Megadeth) My dear heavens! Some of his

runs I still cant play today! Then I somehow got turned on to Pantera. With all of these as my inspirations thus far

I was fortunate to bump into some cool friends that had the same type of music in common. We ended up forming

a band named Fallen Angels. When we got our stuff together we played at a school talent show and got disqualified

for starting a small mosh pit. and breaking a guitar on stage (poo) The crowd liked us quite a bit but, shortly afterwards

 we split up.......

A while later we (me and me bro, the drummer) popped up in another band. We called ourselves Lordiel. We

practiced alot and got really close. Then we got word of an upcoming talent show. We practiced our butts of even

more and we QUICKLY threw together a song entitled "What Awaits" Then came the talent show....well, this time

the audience did not waste time. About 45 seconds into Pantera's "Hard Line Sunken Cheeks" a big mosh pit broke

out seriously ticking off the man in charge of it all. WEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL! (Inside joke.) After a while of

convincing they let us play our song which turned out fairly well. I remember being so ticked that I messed up the

beginning of a solo and had to improvise almost the whole thing, Doh! After that night, we got back to practicing

hardcore. Then we started playing local gigs around here. This went on for a while...... ("......" in this passage represents

"a while"......what?) Then we got introduced by our bassist step father to a new band that changed me for good.

This band completely changed me. In the past it was all about playing a billion miles an hour screaming words

at the top of our lungs AHH AHH AHH! But, after hearing ICED EARTH I realized that I had a more musical

side to me. Not saying that my past influences are not musical or anything. No, not at all, but there is something in

Iced Earth that I can feel that I cant quite get out of any of the previous bands. (Few exceptions) Tears swelling in the

eyes at the loss of a loved one, the angry boundless rage upon the fifth plain, reaching the end, running from the

coming curse (not really but you get the picture). These are things to me that were unthought-of  in the past, yet

Iced Earth made it a reality. I immediately figured out some songs and next thing you know we were covering two songs

of them, 1776, and Burnt Offerings. Then one of our biggest what-ifs became a reality........we learned Dante's Inferno.

During this stage we also found another band named Testament. I was quickly addicted to Skolnick's style of playing.

Also, about at this point, I started developing a strong passion towards video game music. (Thanks Nobuo!)

This mixture went on for a while then my brother bought a Roland 1680 recorder. WoW! After acquiring this, my social

life kind of took a bomb to the ground. I never got out to much and I still don't. For the first few weeks I just made

Rhythms and soloed over them. Then I attempted a video game like piece. It came out pretty good (some parts)

I did more video game pieces and some more metal pieces before I some how got the idea to mix them together.

The first piece I did was really pleasant to me. (at the time) After this, I did many more like that. Then I got wind

of Demons and Wizards. Jon Schaefer and.......Hansi who? Upon the first listening I immediately ran to my dresser

to grab a spare. (for those of ya who dont get it, Im trying to say it was so darn good I nearly pooped my shorts!!!)

This of course led to Blind Guardian. Damn. Those guys.....awesome. This eventually led to the band who...

well I cant actually explain it, kind of like music you never thought possible, not even in dreams. But hey what do

ya know these guys are doing it! Rhapsody, was a real shock when I heard them. It quickly became my favorite.

I listened to them for a while then my good friend Tim introduced me to Nightwish. I was hooked on the spot!

They are all I can listen to now. I get up in the morning and think, hmm...... what to put in th (and before I can finish

Nightwish is already playing in my ears.)  Poo (no link this time! HINT HINT!) This is about all....

I recently received some Midi software so I've been doing a lot of Midi's lately. I read some where that plagiarism

is pretty easy to do with that format. So I'm still in question of putting those on the site. I know I can trust 99.99999%

of the people but all it takes is one "dicko" to mess that up. If you'd REALLY like to hear them you can E-mail me

swearing that you promise you are not that sir "dicko" and I will get them to you. If you would like to see a hobbies

and interest page have fun looking for the link on this page!!!
