Man is separated from God.
What separates us from God? SIN
What is sin? The things that we do that do not please GOD. List some sins.
Say Romans 3:23. For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
God does not want us to be separated from Him
God sent His son Jesus to die for us.
Say John 3:16-For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son that who ever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Say Romans 5:8-But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on a cross to pay for our sins with His blood.
He took our sins in His body so that we could be with God some day.
Jesus was put in the tomb.
Jesus was put in a tomb and they rolled a huge stone in front of it.
The soldiers guarded the tomb.
Jesus rose from the dead.
God sent an angel to roll away the huge stone at the tomb.
God raised Jesus from the dead.
Say I Corinthians 15:3-4-Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
Jesus had paid the price for our sin.
God took Jesus back to heaven.
Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
Say John 14:6-Jesus said… I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, except through me.
Through Jesus, we can be forgiven of all our sins and be with God forever.
Choosing to put our faith in Jesus and to trust in Him to save us from our sin is as easy as A-B-C.
A-Admit that you are a sinner. Tell God that you are a sinner and do things wrong.
B-Believe that God sent Jesus to die for our sins. Believe that Jesus rose from the dead and that He is our Savior. Say Acts 16:31-Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
C-Claim Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Allow Jesus to be the boss of your life.
Say Romans 6:23-For the wages (payment) of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
What choice will you make? Trust in Jesus Christ to be forgiven and have eternal life or reject
Jesus Christ and suffer eternal punishment in Hell?
Being a follower of Christ.
Love God and all people. (heart)
Study the Bible (God’s word) every day. (Bible)
Pray to God all the time. (person praying)
Meet with other Christians. (hands)
Tell others about God. (cross/world)
