This is the first Picture I seen of Talena and fell in love with :-)
I met her when I was surfing IRC, came across a channel called #Pumpkin, the people there were very friendly so I stayed on, and met Talena. After chatting to her for about 12 month we became very close, so in April 1998 I flew to Oregon where she was staying at the time to meet her in real life. Within 22 hours of my arrival we were married, I just had to make sure that no one else would take this lovely Texan Gal.

Once upon a time a
woman named DollBaybe met a man named Sardar on IRC....while trying to steal his
credit card he caught her......
she wanted that card bad.......so she consented to be his wife....
wed by a ruthless friend of hers known as Kim.......they took their cyber vows
after many cyber marriages the couple finally met in real life
DollBaybe wasted no time and raped the poor Sardar
as she feared he could be pregnant she married him in real life the next day
Now Sardar had to travel back to his far away land of Aussie
and then sent for his bride
Aussie land said we don't want no DollBaybe here and kicked her out poof
so Sardar quickly changed her name to Talena
now Talena missing her Sardar fought with the evil Red Tape and awaits Sardar's
release back into her loving arms
where they will live and love happily ever after
The end
Sounds all very easy doesn't it, well considering that we had to apply for a license first, then find a judge to waive the waiting period, then find a minister, and 2 Witnesses it wasn't all that easy , but it was definitely worth it. Unfortunately I had to return to Brisbane Australia to attend to my business while Talena was getting her passport.
We had intended to get a permanent residency for Talena here in Australia, but soon found out that it takes
A: 20 month for the application to come through, during which time she was expected to remain in the U.S.A.
B: If the visa was then approved the Australian Government wanted a large amount of money as deposit in case she requires medical attention
So we decided that Jason would move to the States and he arrived in March 1999. For the first 6 month we lived in Abilene Texas and in October 1999 we moved to Wichita Kansas and in 2001 we moved back to Texas, Houston this time, we find the climate better down here and more work opportunities too. Plus we got good friends here we met on IRC, Jeri and Jim, who invited us to stay with them till we found work and our own place as well. Since Abilene we had Talena's daughter Jaylean living with us but in Kansas Jaylean decided to go with her then Boyfriend Pat to his home in Colorado, and Jaylean is now expecting her first child.. Since it wasn't easy to get work there they decided to come temporarily to live with us here in Houston and we had to move to a bigger Apartment, lol. Jay and Dustin got married later and had another son Dustin, and live now in Colorado. Jason wasn't overwhelmed with America and cannot see a future there for us, so we decided that we will move back to Australia, Jason left now and made a home for us on the GoldCoast and the next step is getting me there too. I am living at present in the Panhandle in Texas and get to chat most days to Jason..
