Water Bottle Cover {Lyn's Designs} Materials:
4ply cotton yarn
G hook hook
{fits a 20-23 oz waterbottle}
I used a propel waterbottle that is 23 oz.
ch 4, sl st to form a ring.
rnd 1: ch 3, 14 dc into the ring. join.
rnd 2: ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, * 2 dc in each st around. join.
rnd 3: working in back loops for this round ONLY, 1 dc in each st around. join.
rnd 4: ch 3, 2 dc in same sp (beg shell), *sk 2, 1 sc in next st, sk 2, 5 dc in next st,
repeat from * around. ending with 2 dc in the same sp as beginning shell. join.
rnd 5: ch 1, sc in same sp, * 5 dc in next sc, 1 sc in center of next shell, repeat from
* around. join.'
alternate rows 4 and 5 for a total of 16 rounds, or until desired height.
Last Round: ch 4, * sk 1 st, 1dc in next st, ch1, repeat from * around. join.
drawstring tie: ch 65, end off. weave in thru the dc of the last round. tie together
at end in a knot, this becomes a hanger for the bottle.
