Rose Tissue Roll Cover{Lyn's Designs}
Materials:
G hook
about 2 oz. of white  4-ply WW yarn 
1 oz. any color  4-ply WW yarn
just a touch of green 4-ply WW yarn
 
Row 1: ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring.

Row 2: ch 5, * 1 dc in ring, ch 2, repeat from * 6 times more; 
join with sl st to 3rd st of ch 5 ( 8 ch 2 spaces).

Row 3: * in next ch 2 sp, 1 sc, 4 dc, 1 sc,  repeat from * 7 times 
more; join. (8 petals).
 
Row 4: * ch 4, 1 sc in  sc between next 2 petals, repeat from 
* 6 times more;  ch 4, join.
 
Row 5:  * in next ch 4 sp, 1 sc, 6 dc, 1 sc ,  repeat from * 7 
times more, join.  fasten off.
 
Row 6: join green in sc between any 2 petals, * ch 5, do 3 dc, 
ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in sc between next 2 petals.   ch 5, and do 
1 sc in next sc between 2 petals, repeat from * 3 more times, 
join.

fasten off green.
 
Row 7: join white, ch 3, and do 3 dc in ch 5 sp of previous row; 
now do a dc in between each set of 3 dc, then do a 4 dc in 
ch 5 sp all the way around; join with sl st.
 
Rows 8-13 : ch 3, and dc in each dc around.  join.

Row 14: ch 3, do a dc in same sp, and then do 2 dc in each around, join.

Row 15: ch 3, and do a dc in same sp, do 1 dc in next st, and 2 
dc in next, around. join.  fasten off white.  
 
Row 16: (join color of the rose)  * ch 3 and skip one dc, sc in 
next dc,  repeat from * around.  end off.
